Valentine’s day brings many different emotions to different people. This being the case we thought we’d put together a Healthy Twists Plant-Based Valentine’s Menu of easy tasty food that you can enjoy with anyone you love. Whether that’s the love of your life, your best friends, your family or it is one of those days in the calendar you like to shut the door on and treat yourself.
Alternatively, as in our case, as Valentine’s falls on Friday this year we’ll be enjoying all of these tasty dishes and treats in between the kid’s dance class, football and general parent taxi service duties. We know we aren’t alone in this!
We’ve chosen easy to make recipes all are vegan and gluten-free. Some can be made ahead of time and others whizzed up so you aren’t spending your time slaving away in the kitchen when you should be relaxing, enjoying yourself or being the taxi service
To start the day we’ve chosen one of our favourite breakfasts, followed by an easy ‘on toast’ for lunch or as a starter for your main meal and then our go-to fakeaway recipe. To finish with there is a simple indulgent dessert option and of course, it wouldn’t be Valentine’s day without chocolates!
