For as long as we’ve been making smoothies this chocolate smoothie has been our go to recovery and pick me up of choice.

Vegan & Gluten free
Serves 1

Ingredients
Basic smoothie ingredients
1 chilled banana
2 tbsp. of cacao powder
1 large date or ½ tsp. of date syrup
1 heaped tsp. of nut butter – usually peanut, cashew or almond butter
Plant based milk

Optional additions
1 tsp. of lucuma powder – great for waking you up.
A handful of oats – makes it more filling and ideal for breakfast.

Method

Add all the ingredients to the blender and cover in your chosen milk. Blend until smooth and creamy. Then grab a bamboo straw and enjoy your Cacao Heaven Smoothie!
